Case Interview Workshop III
July 15 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pmFree
After laying the groundwork for general business knowledge and understanding the overall case format, the best way to improve case interview abilities is to practice and be exposed to a variety of case types and formats. To continue our educational series on preparing for the case interview, in this final of the three-park workshop series, we will demonstrate a merger & acquisition case and address several case formats outside the standard candidate-led interview.
In this workshop, we will briefly review cases from workshop I and II, and build upon the basics to solve a merger and acquisitions case. We will also discuss a few case formats outside the standard candidate-led interview. As a bonus, the workshop will be followed by 3 breakout sessions where you can solve cases as a group with experienced/successful candidates.
Some topics covered will include:
- Synergies for company merger and acquisition
- Analyzing exhibits and generating insights
- Population-based estimation questions
- Interviewer-led, group, and written case interview formats
- Strategies and resources for preparing for the case interview
