Part 2: How to Win a Case Competition

We hope you enjoyed reading Part 1 of our "How to Win a Case Competition" series in the last issue.

In this issue, we continue the article from the previous issue and will provide you some. tips and example slide for  Business Model evaluation & Go To Market Strategy:

Business Model

  • Evaluate alternatives available to client and find the return for each of the alternatives

  • Find the alternative which is best for the client

Go To Market Strategy

  • Bring everything together to produce the strategy recommendation

  • Justify the final recommendation.

  • Business Model

    • For each option, create the appendix page provided by using growth and revenue forecasts based on industry and client’s prior data

    • For each option, mention, revenues, costs, and break-even date

    • For each option, mention the variance 

  • Go-To-Market

    • Make sure that the go to market strategy is feasible and in-line with the client’s demands

    • It should be related with the prior sections

  • Final Recommendation

    • Provide a single recommendation

    • Provide linkages between all sections and provide a roadmap
